Wow!!! Dr. Garala is absolutely AMAZING!!! I had to get two root canals which people convinced me would be just an awful experience. I got my first one two weeks ago and the procedure was painless. I only had to take two ibuprofens that day and never felt a thing afterwards. Today I got my second one done. Again, PAINLESS procedure. Took my first ibuprofen a few hours ago and I’m not even sure I’ll need to take a second. His dental assistants were so nice. I had Bianca* and another lady whose name I can’t remember. The front office staff are always incredible. Definitely recommend! And they sanitize everything after someone uses the counter!

I have no words to explain how grateful I am to have found Medical Center Endodontics of Houston, when I first call them to schedule an appointment I had very bad pain, pain that I don't wish to anybody, the receptionists are very kind they took the time to listen to me while I explained everything about my tooth. The day of my appointment I was very nervous and scared, but soon went away because the girls there are the sweetest, they make you feel comfortable, everybody has a smile in there and to top it off Dr. Garala is the kindest Doctor I have ever met, he gives you comfort and hope, believe me he will find the cause of your toothache. I swear I couldn't even enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, My birthday dinner and Valentine's dinner, all because of the bad rootcanal the previous dentist did. It was a big time fail, it was terrible, my tooth developed an infection, had me crying like never in my life. When Dr. Garala told me that he could save my tooth and do a re-treatment I was so scared I wanted to cry I thought to myself not again, thinking about how painful it was going to be, but I was wrong, it didn't hurt at all, he talks to you during the procedure and makes sure you are not in pain or feeling any kind of discomfort. If I ever need a root canal specialist again, Dr. Garala is the one. I'm forever thankful.

And so, here I am again, 1 year after leaving the review below. Back to Medical Center Endodontics to do my left side. Great procedure, went smoothly, they even called me the next day to check on how I was doing!!!!!.....you can't beat that!!!!! Best decision I made to go back. The staff, their professionalism and of course Dr Garala.........absolutely amazing. Dr Garala should get the "Best dentist in Texas" award!!!! A big 5 star rating for sure!!!! Please keep doing what you're doing. Everyone who needs a root canal in Texas should go to Medical Center Endodontics......you won't regret it. Amazing and really helpful staff. Dr Garala was absolutely amazing, professional and helpful. I am so impressed with the service and pricing as well. Dr. Garala is a superb Endodontist. Strongly recommended by my superb dentist and a well known professor of endodontics. My personal experience was great, great result, no discomfort, respectful and personal atmosphere, easy access near but not in medical center. Since my first visit everything has gone smooth. Repair of previous Endodontist root canal has gone flawlessly. Price has been very reasonable and several follow up visits including xrays have been without extra charge. The office is spotlessly clean.

Highly recommend! I have had several root canals performed by Dr. Garala and if anyone can make this unpleasant experience palatable, it is Dr. Garala. The whole office works well, the dental nurses and administrative staff are also excellent and caring.

If you don’t read any of the rest of review, know this. Dr Amjad Ansari is AWESOME! Now for the rest of the story. Why is it that I always get sick on a holiday, and not just any holiday but the biggest one of the year? The pain of an askew 30 year old filling in the back left molar…terrible, life changing pain. I cannot say it was all of a sudden, for the better part of a year it was sensitive. But in the space of four days the pain became EXCRUCIATING, from an occasional throb to--throw yourself on the floor and cry like a baby terrible. My wonderful usual dentist was on Christmas holiday, as were we all. In spite of that, Dr. Dean Dekerlegand answered my panicked call and recommended Medical Center Endodontics. My first call to MCE, I was crying, the pain--oh the PAIN. Yes sir we can get you in but not until Friday…this being the Thursday after Christmas…pleadingly I say “Please, anything sooner” Well yes but you will have to drive to downtown Houston (30 minutes outside of rush hour up I45 one of the busiest roads in the country)…I will take it! I said. Ok you can see Dr. Ansari at 3:20 today (hours seeming as days)…But what a blessing. Dr. Ansari was perhaps the sweetest most caring physician of any type I have ever met. He explained every step of the process and he personally cared for my comfort and mental health through the entire process…no nitrous only local anesthetic. In 3 hours I went from some of the worst pain I have ever felt to pain level of “1”. I have tears in my eyes typing this, Dr. Amjad Ansari is a consummate professional of the highest degree, an angel in truth. The entire staff at Medical Center Endodontics were sympathetic, helpful and prompt. I hope you never need their services but if you do, MCE and Dr. Amjad Ansari are the best!!

The staff were very friendly and professional but not cold professional. During the procedure they were very kind. Dr. Garala is the best, he was very kind and gentle, even though as Dr. Garala said, "my tooth was fighting back, but he was going to win." Yeah we won! Dr. Garala is my hero. They even followed up the next morning to check on me and that means a lot because many Dr's don't follow up anymore. Thank you all so much, I truly appreciate you. A flawless experience from my call to make an appointment to the end of the procedure. Got an appointment within two days, did paperwork online ahead of time, parking was easy, was taken right on time. Everyone was efficient and friendly. Dr. Ansari and his assistant Anitra were great, tested to make sure I really did need a root canal, explained the why and then what would happen. Got everything done that morning, with an absolute minimum of discomfort. Even the fee was less than I expected. I would heartily recommend this group and if I ever need a procedure like this again I will definitely go to them.
